The PeerNotes browser extension lets you save what you’re reading — an article, a documentation page, a post — directly into your workspace as a source, without breaking your reading flow. And because a saved page is only half the value, the clipper also asks the question that matters: what do you think about this page?

Install the extension

If you haven’t yet, see Install the browser extension. PeerNotes supports Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and Opera.

Open the extension on any page

Click the PeerNotes icon in your browser toolbar while viewing the page you want to keep.

Save the page

The page is saved to your workspace as a source, with its content and URL attached — so you can always get back to the original.

Add your thought

Before you move on, jot your reaction in the capture box — “What thoughts does this bring up?” — and press Enter. The thought is saved linked to the page, ready to resurface when you write about the topic later.
The thought is the part you’ll thank yourself for. A saved page tells you what you read; a captured reaction tells you why it mattered. Even one sentence is enough.

Where clips go

Clipped pages land in your Sources library, alongside your uploaded documents and files. Thoughts you captured with them appear in your Thoughts feed, each linked back to its source — click the source chip on any thought to reopen the original page content. From there, clips flow into the normal PeerNotes pipeline: the agent clusters your reading reactions into topics, and when a theme ripens you compile those thoughts into a note.

Saved pages, offline

The extension keeps your saved pages available in its own Saved Pages view, synced with your workspace — handy for quickly checking what you’ve already clipped without opening the app.
