Add collaborators to a note
1
Open the note
Collaboration is per-note: you invite people into a specific piece of thinking, not your whole library.
2
Add teammates
Open the note’s sharing controls and add collaborators from your workspace. Each collaborator gets access to read and contribute to the note.
3
Work the draft together
Collaborators see the latest version whenever they open the note. The note lists its collaborators — “With alex@…, sam@…” — so everyone knows who’s shaping the idea.
What collaboration is for
Pressure-testing
Invite the teammate most likely to disagree. If the argument survives their pass, it’s ready for the whole workspace.
Filling gaps
Different people hold different pieces. A note about a customer problem gets stronger when support, product, and engineering can each add what they know.
Co-authoring
Some notes are joint work from the start — a proposal two of you are drafting, a decision record for a shared project.
Review before publishing
Use collaborators as your editorial pass before a note is published as an article for everyone.
