Leaving a workspace removes you from that one workspace. You stay signed in, your account stays open, and your other workspaces aren’t affected. To delete your account entirely, see Delete your account.

Leave a workspace

Switch to the workspace

Open the workspace you want to leave.

Open Settings

Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.

Leave

Under Your settings, choose Leave workspace, then select the Leave button.
If you’re the workspace’s only admin, make someone else an admin in Workspace admin → People first. If you’re also its only member, delete the workspace instead.

What happens when you leave

  • The workspace drops out of your switcher and you lose access to it.
  • Everything you created there stays in the workspace, under your name, so your teammates keep their work.
  • A workspace admin can add you back.
  • Claude and other AI agents connected to your account lose access to the workspace too.
  • If it was your last workspace, you stay signed in and see the welcome screen, where you can create a new workspace.
