The note editor has AI writing help built in. Nothing is permanent: whole-note changes apply straight to the draft but undo with ⌘Z, and selection rewrites are shown for you to accept or discard first.

In the editor toolbar, the AI group has: Each one replaces the note with the improved version. If it’s not what you wanted, press ⌘Z to undo.

Rewrite a selection

Select any passage in a note to open the bubble menu, then choose Rewrite. Type an instruction — “make this tighter”, “turn this into a list” — and PeerNotes returns a Suggestion. Accept to swap it in for the selected text, or Discard to keep what you had.
The same bubble menu’s Comment action is covered in Comments & mentions, and you can tag the Peer Agent in a comment for questions about a passage.

Draft a new note

When you create a note, the New Note sheet can draft the first version for you:
  • Draft with AI — describe what you want, e.g. “summarize this week’s standup meetings”.
  • References — attach thoughts and sources for the draft to draw on.
  • Note Style — pick an existing note whose tone and structure the draft should match.
Leave all three off and you get a blank note.
