Workspace settings control everything about a workspace itself. Open them from the workspace switcher — choose Workspace settings.
Only admins can change these settings. Members can open the panel but see it read-only: “View only — you don’t have permission to edit this workspace.” Leaving a workspace (below) is available to everyone.
Changes save when you select Save changes; the footer confirms with “All changes saved.”

Details

The workspace’s identity.

Topics

Manage the topics the workspace organizes its thinking around.
  • Add a topic — give it a name and an optional description.
  • Suggest topics — let PeerNotes propose topics from the workspace name and description. Review them before keeping.
  • Remove a topic — from its chip.
A workspace can hold up to 100 topics.

People

Manage who’s in the workspace and what they can do.
1

Invite by email

Enter an email address, choose Member or Admin, and select Invite. Invited people appear as pending until they accept.
2

Change a role

Use the role toggle on any member row to switch between Member and Admin.
3

Remove someone

Use the remove control on their row. You can’t remove yourself, and the Peer Agent’s system account can’t be edited or removed.
See Workspaces for what each role can do.

Agents

Configure the Peer Agent for this workspace. The Peer Agent is enabled with all create permissions on by default. These are workspace-wide; each member additionally controls what the agent may do with their own content in Preferences → AI.

Danger zone

The Danger zone tab holds two separate actions: leaving the workspace yourself, and deleting it for everyone.

Leave a workspace

Any member — admin or not — can leave a workspace they belong to.
1

Open Danger zone and select Leave workspace

There’s no type-to-confirm step — one click leaves.
2

You lose access

Your membership becomes inactive and the workspace drops out of your switcher: “You will lose access to this workspace.”
3

Rejoining

An admin can re-invite you later.
If you’re the only admin, promote another member to admin before you leave so the workspace still has someone who can manage it.

Delete a workspace

Deleting is admin-only and applies to the whole team.
Deleting a workspace is permanent. It removes the workspace and all of its notes, thoughts, topics, and member associations. This cannot be undone.
To delete, open Danger zone, type the workspace name to confirm in the field, and select Delete workspace. The button stays disabled until the name matches exactly.
