# Leave a PeerNotes workspace

> Leave one PeerNotes workspace without deleting your account, and learn what happens to your access and your content.

Leaving a workspace removes you from that one workspace. You stay signed in, your account stays open, and your other workspaces aren't affected. To delete your account entirely, see [Delete your account](/getting-started/delete-account).

## Leave a workspace

        Open the workspace you want to leave.

        Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Settings**.

        Under **Your settings**, choose **Leave workspace**, then select the **Leave** button.

        Open the workspace you want to leave.

        Go to the **You** tab and tap **Leave workspace** under **Your settings**, then confirm.

  If you're the workspace's only admin, make someone else an admin in [Workspace admin → People](/features/workspace-settings#people) first. If you're also its only member, [delete the workspace](/features/workspace-settings#delete-a-workspace) instead.

## What happens when you leave

* The workspace drops out of your switcher and you lose access to it.
* Everything you created there stays in the workspace, under your name, so your teammates keep their work.
* A workspace admin can add you back.
* Claude and other AI agents connected to your account lose access to the workspace too.
* If it was your last workspace, you stay signed in and see the welcome screen, where you can create a new workspace.
