# Search

> Jump to any thought, note, or source in your workspace with ⌘K, or filter a feed in place. For open-ended questions, ask the Peer Agent.

Find anything in the current [workspace](/core-concepts/workspace) — by title or by content.

## Quick search

Press **⌘K** (Mac) or **Ctrl K** (Windows) from anywhere to open search.

* Type into **Search thoughts, notes, sources…** — results appear as you type, grouped into **Notes**, **Thoughts**, and **Sources**.
* Use **↑ / ↓** to move through results and **Enter** to open one. **Esc** closes.

Search covers the workspace you're currently in; switch workspaces to search another.

## Filter a feed

The **Thoughts** and **Sources** feeds have their own search box and **topic** filters. Use these when you want to narrow a whole list — every source tagged *Onboarding*, say — rather than jump to one item.

## Ask instead of search

When you don't know the exact item — *"what did we learn about export limits this quarter?"* — [Chat](/features/chat) with the Peer Agent. It reads across your notes, sources, and topics and answers, rather than returning a list.
